Reflection Paper 1
Throughout the process of attending the GBA 301 class, I had many different experiences and observations. I attended class during the Saturday session and was very pleased as to how smoothly and timely everything was planned. I had heard previously that this course was extremely hard to sit though but overall, I thought it was a good and eye opening experience. One of my favorite parts was during the global and cultural awareness. I had not previously thought about traveling abroad to study but with the other students sharing their experiences, it really opened up my eyes and I am strongly considering it. I think for me, I would be most interested in the trip to France over spring break. I am going to be in contact with the administrator who sets up these trips in the very near future to see if this would be something I could afford to do. I think that traveling abroad would really set me apart from other applicants in the job force and make me more cultured. I also enjoyed the Networking for Success in Business School and Beyond with Melanie Broyles. I learned some new things on how to approach a lunch interview and how to give a great first impression. Mrs. Broyles gave a great presentation and I will retain all of the suggestions that she gave the class.
