The inequality that occurs between men and women has been quite apparent especially in the difference of salary income. This wage gap has been hotly debated for years and despite the implementation of the Equal Pay Act, has still presented itself as an issue. According to the Pew Research Center, the wage gap has indeed minimized as younger generations enter the workforce: 84% being the average gap between women and their male counterparts and 93% for younger women between the ages of twenty-five and thirty-four.
