Experience and perception are huge factors to someone's beliefs. Experience makes a person point of view change which is also called perception and what you believe is your perception on all things in the universe. For example, a person's belief in Christianity is that God created everything on earth and there is life after death on it also that Jesus died for us on the cross. This is also their perception on how we came about.
Culture shapes a person or people drastically. It provides raw material of which the individual makes their life (Benedict). Traditions, practices,arts,literature, and beliefs all tie in to culture. To me all cultures have different histories and traditions with tribes within them that set them apart from the other tribes. For example, the African culture consists of a variety of tribes like the Maasai, Himba, and the Samburu. They all come from different areas of Africa such as Kenya, Tanzania, and Kawaza. There are people in the world who make it a goal to be set their own trends and stand out from the rest of society. Unorthodox people try to make the world better while striving to be better themselves. The world has improved mostly through people who are unorthodox, who do unorthodox things (Dee). Unorthodox means to be contrary to what is usual, traditional, or accepted; not orthodox. “The world has improved mostly because unorthodox people did unorthodox things. Not surprisingly, they had the courage and daring to think they could make a difference” quoted by Ruby Dee, meaning unorthodoxed people do things to benefit society even if they don't necessarily don’t consider themselves to be in it.
