Failure is a part of success because when failure occurs, lessons are learned and you don’t make the same mistakes twice. George Washington is a great example of this. George Washington was from Virginia and was a farmer on Mount Vernon. He first saw battle during the French and Indian War, where he wasn’t successful and many of his men where killed. During the Revolution, he was the leader of the Continental Army, and once the war was over, became America’s first president. George Washington was a leader who cared about his soldiers and always wanted to do what was best for the country. General Washington was an outstanding military leader. He was praising his soldiers after the battle of Trenton because they were very brave and followed orders. This shows how Washington's men follow his order and how he cares about his troops. Source B is a message from George Washington, and he is saying that he is concerned New Hampshire doesn’t have enough men. He’s worried that if they don’t get the soldiers or supplies they need, Britain will attack and they won’t be able to stop them. Washington knows that the army is lacking supplies and wants to change that, because he knows the army doesn’t have any clothing and that’s a problem because if their clothes get wet, they’ll freeze.This shows how Washington wants to make sure every state has enough soldiers and enough supplies for them.
