Meeting Dorothy Kempson the director of the Georgia Southern University was a good educational experience for myself. I asked her a few questions about her career. Dorothy is a very professional women who can easily answer any question a student or a person may have. It was wonderful introducing myself to her. This all took place Thursday, March 8, 2018. I find it beneficial for other students to get familiar with your campus and your staff. Anyone who has a profession apart at the Georgia Southern University will be eager to assist you in rather is your financial aid, registering for classes or just question you may have they are willing to help.

Meeting Professor Boucher a Criminal Ethics Justice teacher who teaches about the law enforcement and overview of other cultures and their systems in the United States. On Monday, March 19 2018 I discussed with him after class about a Chapter that I did not understand. As a student you do not want to come to class and not have any conversation with your professor about your academic course in their class. It is good to show that …show more content…
The two academic courses are First Year Seminar Liberal Art and Political History America/Georgia. Attending my first year as a freshman at the campus taking the FYSL course helps me to be engage in- campus events that I usually would not attend. As a student who attends both these classes, I am familiar with seeing her on the days I go to class. For my FYSL class I did a project that involved of me going out and exploring the campus and meeting people that had a huge impact on me as a scholar. The professor helps me step out my comfort zone as I grow into becoming a scholar. Also ,inform me about history of Georgia that I did not know. Overall I gained knowledge from her class about Georgia’s history that I was not aware
