Jake crashed into Marianna and then was going to drive off but had a feeling that made him get outside and exchange information. While exchanging information, he began to try and sweet talk his way out of everything and Marianna was not falling for it. She asked him for all his information and he offered information but some of it was incorrect so she could never find him and track him down. She kept pushing the conversation and everything Jake tried to do did not work as she had an answer ready for everything that he tried and it did not work. He wasn’t her boyfriend or anything like that. Just another brazer who didn’t speak English” (Cisneros 357). It appears as if she had started to feel for him and now is beginning to like him and wanted to begin a relationship with him of some sorts because everyone left and no one knew who he was as even she just met him. She had only known him for a few hours while they were dancing, but she decided to stay for some reason and fell for him unlike most who just drove. There is a hint of something here which could be love, or it could just be infatuation; however, there was something deep there for her to do all of that for him which could be the only scenario out of the
