He was born in Bibbiano, Italy on March 15, 1746. In a young age, he was very good at Math and Physics. He can remember stuff really well. For example, He could repeat an entire sermon that he only heard once. He also received very good education. After he graduated, he became an ordained priest at the age of twenty-three. After he unforked from being priest he became professor in one of the seminary. That’s where his youth ages ended.

He was told to taught geometry and philosophy. Later on so many rumors had happened about how smart he was. Until Marquis of Rangone, the Minister of the Duke of Modena heard about it. He was called to the Duke of Modena and became ducal mathematician for a while, then he became state engineer and auditor. When he was an engineer he got so many work such as building bridges, rectification of water courses, draining of marsh land, and the construction of river dam. Because of how famous he was when he was engineer, he became interested about hydraulic questions and scientific questions. In 1786, he got promoted to become a Professor of Experimental Physics. This gave him chance to organise his laboratory. He then became Abbe-Savant. Even though he got a lot of job but still he still also study literature and poetry.
After the Duke of Modena took the negotiations with the Council of the French Republic, he became secretary of the Legation and also sent to live in Paris, France. But then the negotiation couldn’t be successful, so he decided to settle down in Paris for a while to improve his knowledge about physics and
