DATE: February 1, 2014
SUBJECT: BRINGING ‘GIRLS STAND STRONG’ PROGRAM TO MEMPHIS
PUBLIC SCHOOLS
Here is the report that you requested about bringing the ‘Girls Stand Strong’ program to Memphis Public Schools along with recommendations on how to implement strategies to create funding for the program. The report includes findings from secondary research using company websites.
Based on the findings in this report, I have concluded that funds are readily available through gifts and donations. We have local and national sources for funds to meet the deadline for starting the program. Recommendations for obtaining funding for this program include applying for a grant from The UN Trust Fund for Women. Local sources would include appearances on a morning talk show and a question and answer segment on a well-known radio talk show geared towards women.
Please come to me if you need additional information or if you have questions. I would be happy to assist you in any way when implementing some of the recommendations presented in this report.
