These types of tumors originate in the cells near the cranial or spinal nerves. Schwannoma brain tumors is in the 8th cranial nerve which has to do with your hearing. These types of tumors are usually very slow growing. Some common symptoms are one-sided hearing loss or buzzing and ringing in your ear, dizziness can also occur. If it is present in the 7th cranial nerve facial paralysis is also a common symptom. Schwannoma brain tumors account for almost 8% of primary tumors. Females and middle aged adults are twice as likely to get this type of tumor. The best treatment option for this type of brain tumor is to remove it using microsurgical
