The impact they have on the region is unknown. It is doubtful it has any since Goblins have been around since prehistoric times.
Captivity is not an option for this shark. Goblin Sharks are seldom caught in the wild other than accidentally via fisherman’s net. A few who have tried can only keep these creatures alive a few days at most. Not enough is known about these animals, but these sharks can’t survive the trip to the surface.
