Poverty is everywhere, we have the ability to change it so why not start now. The percentage of students who actually enroll and go to college has increased by 8% over the last 24 years. The percentage of students enrolled in 4 year colleges is greater than 2 year colleges (Fast). I affirm that going to college is worth it.
More Jobs are Available to college graduates, and they make more money. People with high levels of intellectual background will be chosen over those with just college experience for any job; even if the job is flipping burgers at Mcdonalds. CNN states in a study that of the 11.6 million jobs 11.4 million went to people with some sort of college background. Employers want workers with some college education, whether it is a degree or a certificate in a trade (Luhby). This shows that only .2 million jobs go to people without some sort of

An article explaining student loans states, “The current students said they expect to have between $39,000 and $42,000 in student loan debt by the time they graduate,” but the article also proceeds to tell us that, they are expected to pay off that debt by the age of 33 (Bidwell). Another article from Education Pays states, “Even for students who use loans to finance all of their tuition, it would take only about 11 years to recoup the cost plus the foregone earnings. Over the long-run, they would be much better off financially than their counterparts without a degree, Caperton added.” (“Education”). It may take a while to get out of debt but in the long run it's better.
College will help you in many ways you learn skills that will help you for life. It is beneficial in more than one way you will learn in so many different situations and places. College isn't a joke anymore it will be here quicker than you think. Do some research yourself or visit a college you'll be surprised and how much you love
