As millennials would say, “You only live once.” True enough, we will all get into old age, probably decades from now. At that point, we would not be as strong and as sharp as we are when we were younger, and it’s an inevitable part of life.
Transitioning from childhood, adolescence, adulthood, middle-age, and then into our senior years would take more than just getting regular exercise, eating healthy foods, and managing stress. Moreover, preparing for old age would also involve planning ahead for the financial, medical, and personal aspect of our lives.

Among things to consider when preparing for your “golden age” are the following:
* Money. You would want to ensure you have sufficient money to live and enjoy your senior years and for “emergencies”. Also, you should also consider what would you do with that money -- in case your time has come -- by preparing a document that would state your last will.
* Health care. Because old age comes with more health issues, a comprehensive health care coverage would be more important at this point, and keep your policies in a safe but accessible location. It would not also hurt if your immediate family members know about this, just in case happens.
* Living arrangements. While able and healthy, prepare as early as now your possible living arrangements such as a nursing home, hospice, or even in a home of a willing relative, so you won’t have to worry who would take care of you if you can’t anymore due to old age. On the other hand, if you would still prefer living in your own home, consider how things may change when you get older. For one, you won’t be able to climb the stairs easily as compared before; maybe you would have to modify it into an elderly-friendly
