Fifteen years ago, on September 8th, 2001, Gracie Cox was born. At 11:37 pm,she entered the world kicking and screaming. She was born in Paoli, Indiana to her proud parents, Johnny Cox and Monica Presley. Gracie has 3 siblings-Tristan, Tyler, Lerissa. When she was 10 months old, she learned how to walk. When Gracie was a toddler, she got car sick a lot. If she left in a car to go to her grandma’s, she got car sick. She was just getting used to have long drives and being in a car for hours at a time. She lived in Marengo, Indiana when she was a toddler. Her parents spoiled her with gifts and love. When Gracie went to Walmart, she would throw temper tantrums until she got the toy that she wanted. Gracie was like their little angel. As Gracie got older, she had a normal life. When she was in Kindergarten, she got her first pet. Her first pet was a dog named Max. She loved Max. After that, at the age of 7 she swallowed a quarter. At the age of 8, she was in 3rd grade. As she walked in the door, her parents gave her the worst news she could ever hear. They told her that they were getting a divorce. She moved to Corydon Intermediate School. One of those decisions was getting her first job. She loved her job and never wanted to leave. After she got her first, job she got her first love, and with this came her first heartbreak. She played basketball for the Crawford County Wolfpack. Her favorite game was the Paoli Tourney. Crawford County won the tourney that year. They won by a slight difference. It was the hardest game in her life. After that her life went downhill. Her sister moved to Florida, and that made her sad. She looked up to her sister.
