Julius Caesar, Winston Churchill, and Abraham Lincoln are all famously great leaders, but for what? For one reason or another these people were the most powerful and influential people of their time. Leadership can often be explained in business, for example, the Brighton School of Business and Management says there are four styles of leadership: The charismatic leader; the democratic leader; the commanding leader; and the “laissez-faire” leader. Each with its own style, time, and place in which it is most effective. Every great leader has their own style and specific set of qualities that make them preferable, such as infectious energy, team member empowerment, unapologetic, forceful personality or a hands-off approach.
