The Greed Gala. I live on the rich side of town in Miami, and there is a man named Mr. Evergreen. He is the richest man in town. Every year Mr. Evergreen hosts what was supposed to be a charity event but what seemed more like a Greed Gala. This year, my Mom and Dad are going again. It feels like my parents only go there more to show off, rather than to help those in need. Everyone who attends comes wearing their most expensive clothes and jewelry. So as curious as I am, this year I decided to check it out. But instead of wearing expensive clothes and jewelry, I wore my regular everyday clothes. Once I entered the “charity event”, I immediately noticed the stark difference. The prices on things were extremely high and it didn’t seem worth it
