In the article,”Danish Zoo Kills Healthy Giraffe, Feeds Body to Lions”shows the perspective that the killing of the giraffe was necessary and that there were no other options.I believe that their purpose in writing is to make any people upset by the killing of the giraffe understand that it was the only best and necessary option for Marius.To further show that this was their purpose in writing,in paragraph 4 it states,”...the protection of the species as a whole must be our priority.”The word priority shows how it matches to the tone of the illing being necessary.Moreover,in paragraph 8 it shows how the other options weren’t the best when the author stated,”...we cannot in good conscience recommend the transfer of animals under our protection
