A long time ago, brave, unstoppable knights were named “The Round Table”. Everywhere they would go, they would defeat anyone to protect the Great King Arthur. One New Year's Day King Arthur gathered everyone to celebrate and feast for the holidays. While everyone was gathering and exchanging gifts, the doors burst open and a big giant man jumped in. He sets up impossible challenges to test Gawain. The Green Knights' ambiguity makes them think of the even nature of morality. The Lord and Gawain agreed to play their game one last time. That night Gawain did not rest well because he was haunted by dreams of the Green Knight flourishing his fearful axe.
