Gregor Samsa
It seems to be a safe, reasonable assumption that everyone, almost likely, is living or has lived a fascinating and unique life. Gregor Samsa is definitely no exception to that assumption. According to the news, he has lived a life worthy of a Hollywood box-office motion picture. Reared from a boy filled with promise to a man in despair, Mr. Samsa's story should be told for many generations to come.
Gregor Augustus Samsa, Sr. was born on February 29th, 1859 in Detroit, Michigan to James and Henrietta Samsa. As a young boy, Gregor was known around his neighborhood as a fine lad with extraordinary athletic ability. He was frequently seen dominating his peers in footraces and arm-wrestling challenges. Rumor has it; he once killed a bear with his bare hands at the age of 13. The strength and skill Gregor had, steered him to become Michigan’s utmost beloved figure in the state. There stands a 100-foot tall, golden statue of Gregor in a park in downtown Detroit. Because of his popularity, he was rarely seen roaming about the public streets as he used to do as a teenager. Samsa was married in 1870 to his childhood babysitter, Shelley. Samsa and Shelley had two children, Gregor Jr, and Grete. Grete married a ninja from Japan and has since moved to Tokyo. Gregor Jr., passed away in 1910. Before his death, Gregor Jr. is rumored to somehow have changed into a giant bug. An anonymous source close to the family has confirmed that he had indeed transformed into an insect.
