Assessment Requirements for the Class
Assessments must document authentic implementation and reflection.
Assessments should be an opportunity to demonstrate learning or growth.
Participants deserve authentic feedback on the assessments. Feedback can be provided by the instructor or by an educator’s classmates.
Grading/scoring of the Participants
Grading of PGA classes are on a Pass/Fail basis. Failure to satisfactorily meet the expectations of the class results in no credit being earned. As with a regular college class in our district, funds to pay for the class are dependent on the successful completion of the class. Participants who do not successfully complete the class will be financially liable for the cost of the class.
Assignment completion/attendance requirements
Students must attend at least 80% of class hours in order to receive credit. All assignments must be completed to the satisfaction of the instructor.
End-of-course Participant Survey
Instructors will provide all students with access to an end-of-course survey provided by the PGA Committee. Survey results will be anonymous. The results will be shared with the PGA Committee and the instructor.
