In these days, gun control seems to had became a hot topic which people often discuss in communities or in newspaper. The mass shootings in many cities was happened that make people paying attention to the issue about gun control. Why the government should restrict people from obtaining guns? On one hand, it can prevent people who are on the terrorist list from buying guns, on the other hand, the rate that people are suicide or hurt others by using gun is increasing every year. According to newspaper report, more than 60 percent of gun-related deaths in the United State are suicides. I remembered someone said, “The literature suggests that having a gun in your home to protect your family is like bringing a time bomb into your house.” It means the gun give people a chance to commit suicide. In some times, people keeping guns at home, it does not only hurt themselves, but also harms others in public. I had read a story about a kid killed himself by using gun in newspaper. In recently, I read lots of related story, also I had experience that come close to death. I know that if the government not strengthen to restrict people obtaining the gun, it will have more tragedy. Guns are particularly lethal. Gun control already become a big problem that candidates are debated in the race. In senate race, senator divide their loyalist in gun control, a group think it should be restrict background checks to the person who purchases the gun. I agree with this suggestion.
