This research paper expands upon the path to Mastery of one of my personal heroes in this, the field of study that I have chosen: Film Making. The Master that I picked is Gus Van Dant along with the story of his journey I will elaborate about the “Keys to mastery” steps; The creative task, the creative mind and the creative breakthrough. Also I will provide an insight on which of the emotional pitfalls my hero my hero might have faced through his carrier. Concluding with a comparison of my hero with another Master of the past which will put us on perspective methods we can use to improve the creativity we all already posses.
