SUMMARY:

On Sunday, 02/04/2017, at approximately 1321 hours, S1 Jaris Guzmanvalladares was arrested for obstructing, delaying, resisting a police officer and for committing an adult offense while being a juvenile. This occurred at 661 Lisbon Street, Daly City. Guzmanvalladares was transported to San Mateo County Medical center for a fracture thumb and lacerations to his face, sustained prior to police arrival. He was later released to his father at the Daly City Police station. INVESTIGATION:

I placed him in handcuffs, double locking them and checking for proper fit. I transported Guzmanvalladares to the Daly City Police station. Officer Jackson-Barrios read Guzmanvalladares his Miranda rights, from a department issued Miranda card. He told her he understood each of his rights as he had explained them to him.

Upon conducting an in-house records check on Guzmanvalladares, I observed he had two prior Daly City Police cases

I transported Guzmanvalladares to the San Mateo County medical center. Guzmanvalladares was treated by Physicians Assistant David Carter. An x-ray examination revealed he had a fractured right thumb, which was placed into a splint. Guzmanvalladares was medically cleared for incarceration.

I transported Guzmanvalladares to the San Mateo County Youth Services Center and provided the staff with the medical clearance letter and the booking paperwork.
