Gwen Farrin grew up in the area of Stone Mountain, Georgia. She graduated high school and entered the work force by working at a local hospital as an EKG Technician. After two years she married her high school sweetheart; she then began to raise her family and worked different jobs of interest until entering a profession in her local school system helping Special Needs children. Gwen continued in this profession for over seventeen years until she left this to retire with her husband to the family land where they had first begun their life together.
