Deliberate practice is working hard, getting feedback, and having a great mindset with a goal in your head. I am here to tell you about what it takes to be great at gymnastics. Competitive gymnastics is very hard. You have to get early and go to a “meet” or competition. You compete the 4 events (bars, beam, floor and vault) for over 3 hours. You get scored out of 10 points by the judges. At awards you score individuals, there there's a team award for the team with the highest score when you add all of the individual scores together.
