From the results of the money habitudes game, I learned that I am a giver. As a giver, the people around me see me as kind, selfless, and judgemental. One of the advantages I have as a giver is that I enjoy making others happy and feel good for taking the time to think of others. I also have strong values, spend little money on myself, and I feel strong knowing others can always depend on me. Even though there are many advantages that I fall under as a giver there are also many challenges that I face. For example, givers may get frustrated when others are not as generous or do not share similar values. There are also times when I feel it is my responsibility to solve other people's problems especially when it comes to my friends. Over the years, there have been many bumps in the road for my family that have caused me to be a save my money. When I was around the age of thirteen, my mom who is a school nurse did not have a job lined up for herself after summer. Along with my mom being worried about finding a job, my dad was unsure if his job was going to keep him or not after working there for thirty years. Because of my parents situation, I would hear my parents argue about finances which was not enjoyable. From experiences like this, I think saving a portion of your money is very important in order to prepare for unexpected situations like this. However, from these experiences I also learned that it is important to give, because despite the financial hardships my parents faced, they still were willing to give to others in need. Through their financial hardships they trusted in God that he would provide and He did. From my parents, I have learned that it is not about being comfortable or hoarding your money but to give generously while being smart with where your money
