My country Haiti is a very unique country, but like most other countries they have had movements for their independence. In 1791 Toussaint- Louverture, a former slave had led the revolution that took back the island. The main inspiration that motivated the slaves to fight for their right to live freely on their island was the French revolution, that revolution had stirred the hatred that was dwelling in these significantly mistreated people to finally take back their island. With the slaves he freed, Mr.Toussaint- L’ouverture used them to organize a guerilla army to battle for their island back. The situation in Venezuela had actually increased to the point where a US state officials had to make the following statement.“‘Because of the regime’s poor choices and poor management, Venezuela now faces an interlocking series of crises: political, economic, humanitarian and social,”’ the official said. Haiti doesn’t want to help out Venezuela mainly because of the 2010 earthquake, it had left Haiti in shambles and when Haiti reached out asking for help Venezuela sent doctors and canceled their debt, Haiti is still one of the poorest American countries to date.
