The play of Hamlet by William Shakespeare the story is base in the drama that prince Hamlet faced after his father passed away. In the play we run into several character some of them somehow we can compare and contrast with Hamlet like for example Horatio,Laertes and Fortinbras.All of this is youth males that also reflect a lot of Hamlet.
Horatio was Hamlet best friends also they study together Wittenberg . He was a very smart man and seems like Hamlet wanted to be somehow like him. Horatio was smart and loyal to Hamlet till the end. Horatio loyalty is what keep him and Hamlet so closed together throughout the play .His loyalty was so big that that even want died when Hamlet was kill.
The second character that we have its Laertes who was Polonius son and Ophelia’s bother.Hamlet and Laeters grew up together, however their life become different when Laertes move to France and Hamlet went to Wittenberg. Thorough the play we see how Laertes was a strong men who like to fight and have no problem fighting and have no moral issues when he has to avenge his father and …show more content…
Fortinbras father was murdered by Hamlet father and he is coming to Denmark to look for revenge. However a difference of Laerter ,Fortinbras show some companion for Hamlet at the end and respect that send “four captains Bear Hamlet, like a soldier, to the stage; For he was likely, had he been put on, To have proved most royally: and, for his passage, The soldiers' music and the rites of war Speak loudly for him.”
Overall, throughout the play we see how all three character Horatio,Laerter and Fortinbras can be compare and contrast with Halmet. Each of them have something to offer to Hamlet that would help with his internal struggle like how Hamlet would like to be more rational like Horatio and more strong like Laerte. Lastly he could if were more brave like Fortimbras he could have become the next king of
