Hammurabi’s rule’s were just because they were fair to his subjects. Some weren’t but I still think it was just. Hammurabi’s Code was just because it protected the family, personal property and against injury . Hammurabi’s Code was just by protecting the family. For example, the code protected them because in Law 195 the son struck his father, his hands would be cut off. Besides, if a lady is caught with another man they will be blinded them and cast them into the water from Law 129. In fact, if the wife get’s a disease and the husband want’s a second wife he can but he will have to take care of the wife (Law 148).
