From this point of view, Hans Holbein’s “The Ambassadors”, is a good example of the intentional construction of the painterly motion. In this painting, Holbein uses the optical illusion to create unreal representation. At first sight, we, as a spectator, perceive the whole image as representation of the moment because we see the painting from a single vantage point.
