Granddad was a special figure in my life. He was involved in my upbringing a lot. I spent countless hours listening to stories he would tell me from his time in the war and the time he spent as a policeman. He would always watch me play football as I grew up. I will value the lessons he taught me forever, the most important being the secret to happiness. He was a very wise man and a great role model to me.
I love my granddad dearly and will miss him a lot. His lifetime of dedication to his family and career will be appreciated forever. His hard work and commitment in all he did inspired many people and will continue to do so throughout our lifetimes. Rest in peace
