According to the book titled Health for Life “Approximately one in seven students in grades kindergarten through 12 is either a bully of has been bullied.” I can relate to this because I was bullied as a child and it didn’t make me feel good at all. When I was in the sixth-grade I was bullied by people who I thought where my friend. One day out of nowhere, they started to call me “no neck”. At the time, I didn’t know what to do about it because it was something I never experienced. When all was said, and done I never confronted them I just ignored them. It didn’t go away until I was going into seventh grade and my family decided to move. To this day, I wish I had the courage to tell them to stop or at least stand up for myself. Bullying is when one person has power over another making them the victim. There are three main forms of bullying, number one: Verbal when someone is saying something about a person. Number two: social, hurting someone’s reputation and relationships with other, like spreading rumors. Number three is physically harming someone’s body in any way. These forms of bullying can do major damage to a person’s mind, body, and soul. As a teen, it makes living a happy and fulfilled life that much harder. Nutrition is the food you eat to become a healthier individual and grow. When you put the right thing in your body then you get great results. So now think of it the other way around, if you’re eating fast food every day and not exercising, do you really think someone can live a long beautiful life? If your answer was no to this question, then you are absolutely right. Living a healthy life style can relate to many different things. For example, not abusing drugs and alcohol, going to the doctor for regular cheek ups, protecting yourself during any sexual activity, and simple things like taking care of the environment. All of them add to our life being that much healthier. In order for us to help ourselves we need to stay determined and focused. Also, doing physical actively every chance you get is another key to a healthy life. When I was, younger I didn’t really enjoy being physical, now that I’m older I know how important it is. After I exercise I have so much energy, I feel like I’m on top of the world. I know I don’t do it as much as I should but I’m working hard to better myself. I do so by making short term and long term goals. A short-term goal, is a goal you can achieve in a week or so. For example, I would make the goal to exercise on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, for at least 30 minutes. Then a long-term goal could be, I’m going to lose a total of 10 pounds in 2-3 months.
