An identity that has once again been talked about fairly recently is poverty. As it is implied throughout the All-New Ultimates comic book by Michael Fiffe, the neighborhood known as Hell’s Kitchen is a very impoverished area. The comic implies this idea by showing a large amount of abandoned buildings and homeless people whenever the scene happens there. This conclusion is further pushed by the fact that the third page of Fiffe's involves a teenager walking down a street in Hell’s Kitchen before he mugged because he looks like he is rich enough to have something worth stealing, which most people would agree that something like this would only happen in incredibly poor areas.
