Growing up. Henry V was born into the role of the king. And he took steps toward leadership, for example, as Henry V grew up he was aware of his surroundings; for example, he took music and language classes. Henry took English, French and Latin and he took these so when it was his time to take over the throne he could communicate with his surrounding countries. And too make allies to help in battle/war. The. Henry V has built peoples trust not just in battle, but through being king. One example of this was when Henry was in his teen years and he and his friends did dumb pranks. Only Henry was caught, but he didn't throw his friends under the bus and rat them out. Henry also did not use his dad as his protector and acted like they couldn't do anything to him because he was the son of the king. He owned up to what he did and was put in jail. Although he did pranks, he was respected for being truthful and not blaming his friends or dad. A second way Henry V was proven to be a good leader was that he was in private counsel meetings from a very young age and wouldn't just stand there acting like he knew everything he would argue with people older than him, even his dad/the king he would argue with and try to get people to hear
