The roads were starting to curve around the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, and this is how he knew he was close to home. He had less than an hour to go before he would reach the large log cabin the woods off a back-road. He could feel the altitude increasing as he rounded the curves, going higher and higher into the mountains, with the snow only getting worse. Everything was covered in snow and ice, event the tall pine trees growing from the rocks on the side of the path.
