Intelligence with heroicness. Who else can be more qualify to be the best hero? A royalty and the son of the god of the universe Perseus is born to extraordinary and having an extravagant life. Born to be an athlete with body fused with energy and courageous personality. Who else is more suited for the greatest hero?

The many ties with the royal family and god means that he cannot escape the fate of being outstanding; he is born to be extraordinary. The hero Perseus has what the other heroes have at birth, a tie with the royal family and a young life in danger. As he is abandoned by his grandfather King of Argos with his mother Princess Danae. They’re in a life threatening danger if it isn’t fate that didn’t let Perseus die: “So weak did mother and the child become...they would have perished, had not a fisherman found them” (Creight 89). If fate haven’t let the fisherman find them Perseus and his mother will have die. Fate has determined his life to be uneasy but adventurous as this is what all heroes have been through; tough, hard young life, adventurous quest and when everything is done the reward for the great deed. “[King of Argos] determined to prevent the fulfilment of this terrible prediction, he decided to follow the only course of action possible - he had no grandsons now, and none must ever be born!” (Creight 88). Though Perseus is lock up in a chest and thrown into the sea during his childhood he show no fear towards anything, not even the sea that have once ambush him. Perseus become the best athlete on the land of Seriphos, “[Perseus] in his youth, when his well-formed body was infused with manly strength, he established himself as the best athlete on the island” (Creight 89). The qualities he has already qualifies him to be a hero; fearless, strong, extraordinary and courageous. His quality of being fearless has let him to kill Medusa and an adventurous journey to find everything he need to kill her. Perseus not only show his courage also intelligence in the journey of getting to Medusa.
