In WWII the Axis Powers were the villains -- except to each other and their citizens. In other words, the Axis Powers were either the heroes or the villains, depending on the person asked. How can someone be a hero to some but a villain to others? A person can be a hero to some but a villain to others because people pick heroes for different reasons. For example, some people pick their heroes based on what’s “cool” and some people pick heroes who stand for the same things they stand for. Because people stand for different things and have different ideas about what’s “cool,” people have different ideas about what it means to be a hero.
To expand on this, some people pick certain heroes to fit in, because others say that that hero is “cool,”
