She sacrificed everything for our benefit and never did she complain. She’s the one who brought us into America with hopes for a brighter future for us. Though she knew she’d lose her career when she moved to the United States, she did not hesitate. Even today, she stays loyal to us and our needs, putting them first before her own. The inside beauty of my mother makes other people just stop and stare, admiring the true definition of a hero. All in all, heroes do not necessarily have to be superhuman with unrealistic costumes or true legends. They are simply the people who look to positively change the environment by making heroic qualities stand out. A hero cannot be selfish, disloyal or idle. In fact, a hero is the absolute opposite. In the previous paragraph, I mentioned that a hero is one to stand up for what is right, to take action and to sacrifice everything for the good of others. I believe that this is the key definition of a true hero. Again, foster parents are not heroes for their selfish acts, idle motivation or betrayal. No, their heroism comes from the fact that they take children under their wing to give them the comfort, love and support. Generally speaking, they treat the kids as if they were the flesh of their flesh and give them the love each child seeks. Similarly, doctors and soldiers remain loyal to their duty, sacrifice their time and are completely selfless. All of these figures of heroes
