Hi Brandi, I think it is awesome that you have three children, work fulltime, and go to school. It probably helps that you are a motivated individual who has a passion to help people of all backgrounds. I can also understand how being so busy can be a challenge. Therefore, it is important to be organized, have time management skills, and deal with stress so that you do not get burned out. I also see that you learn best visually, but also through hands on experience and catch on quickly. Our internships are a great opportunity for us to learn, and an important part of this is learning how to minimize the distractions that can come from other areas in are lives in order to allow us the time we need to devote to the practicum (Garthwait, 2014).
