I agree with you about the first sentence of introduction “entertainment and literature are often judged by how the audience responds to it.” Reader or audience response become more and more important in publishing. Some publishers or authors always based on reader’s response to make a decision about whether they need to publish a new book or not. As you mentioned in the first body paragraph, reader-response criticism might be the best one to fit this video. Throughout a part of that horror Halloween movie, the film critics gave them opinions about the movie, it’s just like a reader sent a response after he or she read a book.
