Death is a widespread affair. Regardless of what our way of life, our culture, our race, or our religion, we will all die. How we approach death, how we consider enduring our misery, and what we accept happens to us after death is all based our way of life, religion, and profound convictions. Profound convictions ground our reasoning about the end-of-life ideas. Hinduism and Christianity, for instance, are two different religions, but share several similarities ass well when it comes to death and dying.

In their mind the body is similar to an arrangement of garments covering the spirit. Consequently, the spirit changes bodies like one changes garments. Hindus trust that managing one's life and helping them with the passing of one's life isn't right and is meddling with karma, accordingly, they don't agree with it. As a general rule, they incline passing away at home. Most want to pass away at home gently while relatives sing, supplicate, and read the sacred texts to offer the diminishing individual some assistance with focusing on Brahman. However, in any case the grieving process is different for everyone. Most people will go through all of the stages of the grieving process, and some may not. Prayers are given from the community to the family during their time of their loss as well as food to show a sense of respect and honor. In the Hindu religion when a loved one is dying, they prefer to bring them home to die and the same can also be said for the Christian religion as well. If one is on their death bed and wishes to die and home their family will usually grant them that wish. Also, there is lots of praying during the death of a loved one in both religions. In such cases that a loved one is dying from a severe illness both religions agree that assisted suicide is against their morals. Lastly, bother religions do preform burials and cremations, however in Hinduism cremations are preformed more often, and in the Christianity funeral are preferred over cremation (Demand)
