We do all sorts of things in the Hitlerjugend, some of them to train for when we go to war, some to train us for when we have to work, and some to help with the war effort. Most of the boys in the Hitlerjugend are all eager to help with the war effort, so …show more content…
But my parents would never do that. We have every confidence that Hitler is doing the right thing for Germany, because he got two Iron crosses in WWI when he risked his life to save his commander in no-man’s land, and because of his constant bravery and dedication. That’s why he is “Ordained to become the German Leader” as he tells us. She says she’s that it’s an honour to have children that will one day serve the Führer like my parents do now. “Kinder, Kirche und Kuche” is the motto that Mother and all the rest of the women live by. It means that their duties to the country are to have children to build our great nation’s armies, be a housewife and care for their family, and to go to church. That’s what they teach the girls to do in their part of the Hitlerjugend, the, League of German Girls, the League of German Maidens and Faith and Beauty. They’re not meant to fight like us boys are, they have a different role to play in making our country
