Further classification will be accomplished through the field of histology as tissue samples are studied under the microscope. In addition to correctly classifying the different subtypes, researchers will attempt to find a more definitive cause for Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Clinical trials evaluating the side effects of different treatments are constantly performed on patients with different types of Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
