Teaching students how to do different kinds of math, and science are just as crucial as teaching them concepts such as, “communication, personal decision making, time management, [and] realistic goal setting”(Major). Thus, pushing major day-to-day skills into the hands of parents and guardians who aren’t always present is irresponsible and will leave many students improperly prepared for their future.
