As in the area of construction, although the site should have been checked and work authorized to commence, a candidate should be aware that cranes and heavy machinery are in operation and must abide by the established protocols for site work. The candidate should not put them self in unnecessary danger and if there is risk of danger, make the relevant person on site be aware as soon as possible.

Careful planning no matter how careful one plans cannot in all cases rule out all possible risk that may arise on a day to day basis especially on a construction site. However, it should be stated that one should endeavour to do their best to minimize risks wherever possible.

There is also the issue of ‘Safeguarding,’ hence there has to be CRB/DBS checks. This was formerly known as CRB check. Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) are now called the Disclosure and Barring
Service check (DBS). It may be a good thing for some students to have the ‘online version’ of DBS if they are starting out and between agencies for work. For certain jobs or voluntary jobs and especially working with children or in the healthcare. This is to check if someone’s criminal record and is this person safe around vulnerable people. It also helps to prove their identity. I must state this is only for specific job roles.
Finally, to sum it all up, careful planning should reduce difficulties, misunderstanding and abort unforeseen future disagreements if done correctly for the assessment. Once everyone knows what is expected and the protocols, there should not be any unforeseen problems in the assessment being observed while being executed according to the awarding body criteria in the work
