Section 1: Company Overview The HollyFrontier corporation is an oil & gas industry headquartered in Dallas, Texas. It is operating five refineries in distinct locations like Wyoming, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Utah and Kansas with a capacity of 4,57,000 barrels per day. The outcomes of the refineries are gasoline, diesel fuel, jet fuel and other highly refined products. Also, it owns Petro-Canada Lubricants which produces approximately 15,600 barrels of more than 350 varieties of lubricants and greases per day. There is significant increase in income compared to Q2 which is 74.07 million dollars. The current competitors of HollyFrontier corporation are ‘Exxon Mobil Corporation’ and ‘Valero Energy Corporation’. The market value for HollyFrontier is approximately 8.1 million dollars. And the market value of Valero and Exxon are $383.3 millions and $350.2 millions respectively. They employ potential candidates with good past record of accomplishments throughout their journey into their top management team. Their journey in handling various refining, chemical, trading and financing companies makes a good statistical implication on HFC and helps in achieving good performance in the market.
Section 3: Reflection As I discussed above, management transparency is what gained my attention towards the organization. I liked the company’s Mission and Values which gained the customers’ as well the employees’ satisfaction. I got the opportunity to engage with two HFC employees and to witness the employee satisfaction.
Unfortunately, I never worked with this organization. I would really prefer to work with the company because of the above mentioned reasons. As per my knowledge on the company, I really find it working good in all the
