That is highly evident in countless movies, for example Robocop. Where the government seeks the public approval of the American people to pass a new nationwide surveillance bill, which would allow unmanned drones to observe everyone in America for increased security. In Robocop, the main character is a robot with the brain of a dead police officer; were he is tasked with bring crime to an end in the city of Detroit.
