This is the principal and tragic example of man's natural mind, which speculates about divine things instead of being content to humbly accept the testimony of the Bible. Millions of Christians believe in the "Holy Trinity" by faith alone. Through this formula, they have made Jesus "the Son of God" and even God himself.
Here we see Jesus quoted as saying that he is not the Supreme Being. This verse is an explicit contradiction of the findings of the Nicene Creed and modern Christian theology. From the reading of this verse, we have to conclude that God is Supreme; there is no one greater than God. However, Jesus is not Supreme; There is someone superior to him.
