Recommendations 1
Creation of a single interface where in staffs of different designations are informed of what went wrong which resulted in horsemeat scandal. Also inform the staff what new methods and practices are put in place to make sure that scandals of that nature do not take place again.

Arranging some sort of get together where top management pledges their commitment to a scandal free organisation and employees are ensured that working in Tesco is a privilege due to the achievements it made in the yesteryears and the opportunity to replicate that.

This concern was particularly expressed by customer service staff as they encountered a number of questions pertaining to this and the possible reasons behind such an issue. Thus the timeliness of the communication is also an issue in this case. It is critical that communication on important information is absolutely important for the concerned employees to respond to the concerned subjects. This is also found as an issue. Otherwise they may be forced to contradict it and at a time when SNSs, Youtube and Twitter are so strong, this is a critical issue which is also found by the audit. There is absence of important information sent on issues, which the employees perceive and also the HR department.
