Personality Profile:
Hospice America My focus non-profit is Hospice America which is an umbrella organization focused in mentoring, networking and promoting death and bereavement awareness throughout hospices across the nation. My interview Profile will be base on one of the local Hospice Center, who’s only focus is compassionate care for patients and their families where medical, social and spiritual support is available for six months or more as needed. Secondary knowledge came from a long-standing volunteer at this same hospice. Volunteers help set the tone for the compassionate care the patients and families receive; Which is consider to be an integral part of the Houston Hospice team, where volunteers serve patients and families with caring expertise. For the sake of confidentiality, I will call this person, Ms. A. Ms. A is in her early 50s, a sturdy and comfortable woman who looks more like a kind-hearted granny in a children’s story than the dynamic outgoing personality that fills the halls, walls and floors of the hospice facility itself. She also registers as having gold personality traits but has no orange traits to count. What this means in plain English is that she fulfills the primary goals of running a successful organization. As a green she can see the big picture, is innovative, trustworthy, logical and a strategic, quick thinking leader (Personality, 2015). As a blue rising, she is compassionate, nurturing, understanding, imaginative and thoughtful (Personality, 2015) Rising means that she comes in close to her green side with this assessment.
