The purpose of this paper is to reflect on the “Cultural Differences” video from the required Hot Seat Case Study. In this video we watched Mustang Jeans, Director of Foreign Sales (Michael Sokolow), and PopWear, Vice President of Merchandise (Norio Tokunaka) met with each other to what Michael assumed to signing the contract to close the deal Norio and Roger Smalls. The contract was the terms of the business deal for Popwear sale Mustang Jeans clothing line in their 36 stores in Japan for expansion opportunities (McGraw-Hill Global Education Holdings, LLC., 2018). Having the ability to make successfully navigate business deals due to being cultural competent is critical when closing business deals, especially international deals. Without
